Refund and licence policy
These terms explain what happens after a stock-footage order is placed. Contact marketing@biglenspro.com before ordering if your intended use needs clarification.
Digital refund policy
Stock footage is supplied as a digital product. Orders are normally final once download access has been issued or a file has been downloaded.
If a file is corrupt, unavailable, materially different from its listing, or cannot be supplied in the stated format, contact us within 7 days of receiving access. We will first offer a replacement or corrected file. If we cannot resolve the issue, we will refund the affected item.
We do not normally offer refunds for a change of mind, an accidental purchase reported after download access has been used, or software and hardware compatibility issues where the listed specifications were accurate.
If we approve a refund, the licence for the refunded footage ends immediately and all downloaded copies must be deleted. Expired download links may be reissued for a valid, non-refunded order after reasonable verification.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Stock footage licence
Each purchase grants the buyer a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use the footage in one end product, production, campaign, or client project. The footage may be edited, colour graded, cropped, and combined with other material.
The footage may not be resold, sublicensed, shared, uploaded to a stock library, distributed as a standalone file, used to train an artificial intelligence model, or made available in a way that allows another person to extract the original clip.
Copyright remains with Big Lens Productions. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the selected licence and footage are suitable for the intended use. Contact us before purchase if broadcast, theatrical, template, merchandise, or unusually high-reach use requires a custom licence.
This policy is a practical starting point for digital stock-footage sales. Have local counsel review it before launch, especially for Botswana consumer law, tax, model releases, location releases, and broadcast licensing.
